=Method was formed in 2013 by our CEO Dil Wetherill primarily as a Functional Safety training company. The business quickly grew to take on consultancy work with a focus on best practice engineering. We gradually took on additional consultants wherever we found people who we trusted and who shared our ethos.
We have clients in all sectors of the process industries, including energy, chemicals manufacture, oil and gas, distilling and steel making. Our main focus is on the process safety aspects of the functional safety lifecycle (hazard studies, LOPA and SIL determination and process safety management).
Our process safety division is headed up by David Sparkes. He is an experienced process safety engineer with a background in chemical manufacture, control system design and capital project design and delivery. David’s specialism is process safety and he understands how process safety should tie in with functional safety to achieve the best overall outcome. David is also the lead trainer for =Method’s process safety training courses.
=Method Process Safety is an independent, employee-owned business with specialist practitioners who operate across all stages of the process safety and functional safety lifecycle. Our HQ is in Hitchin Hertfordshire with teams in Stirling Scotland, Europe and North America.
